fotoreportage23 – in search of ian curtis on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of Ian Curtis at the
kulturreich Galerie in Hamburg, Germany.
The exhibition is based on the
book of the same title with 23 locations and 23 portraits of friends, companions, and contemporary bands such as Mark E. Smith, Annik Honoré, Terry Mason, Bloc Party, José González, and
Tony Wilson paired with their handwritten stories and personal thoughts about Ian Curtis and
Joy Division.
A full associated programme of events in cooperation with the kulturreich Galerie, the Hamburger Fotobuchtagen and Hamburg's club scene will accompany the exhibition.
